SUNY Online Teaching Ambassadors

The SUNY Online Teaching Ambassadors program recognizes and showcases exemplary online instructors who are enthusiastic and effective online teaching faculty from SUNY institutions, and who can be positive and strong advocates for online teaching in our SUNY community. Campus nominations for the SUNY Online Teaching Ambassadors program are reviewed by the Online Oversight and Readiness Committee.

Online and Hybrid Community of Practice

This community of practice (CoP) is a space for dialogue to build relationships among members. We aim to amplify exemplary work happening across campus with regard to online and hybrid teaching and course design, from training and workshops to innovative course design and student-centered pedagogy. This opt-in community is intended for faculty, staff, and graduate assistants in the Buffalo State community interested in online and hybrid education.

SUNY Effective Online Practices Repository

The SUNY Effective Online Practices Program aims to collect, share and showcase the online best practices, strategies, and innovative online teaching and learning activities or programs of exemplary SUNY online practitioners from across the SUNY system. SUNY Online OSCQR Awards Program

The SUNY Online Teaching OSCQR Awards recognize excellence in implementing the OSCQR online course quality rubric and process. These awards celebrate effective, creative and/or innovative practices that enhance online course design and continuous improvement. The OSCQR rubric, developed by SUNY Online, consists of research-based standards aimed at ensuring learner-centered and well-designed online courses. The rubric, tools, materials, and process are openly licensed, freely available, and widely adopted both within and outside the SUNY system.
